Progressive Era 809
The Progressive Era was a period of great reform for our country. So far we have covered a good amount of these reforms. Which reform that we learned about do you feel was the most important? Why? After you have answered my questions you may comment on what other people have said. However, make only well thought out responses and be respectful of one another!!!

I think the most interesting reform that we learned was when we learned how strict schools were. When students did something wrong they would get hit with a ruler or just the teachershand and how if they would try and tell their parents they would get into more trouble and probably get hit again for getting in trouble in the first place. I think that wasnt fair for kids because kids are kids they mess up sometimes and they shouldnt get hit because of a mistake , esp. in school.

The Progressive Era had to do with reformers! Americans wanted reforms.I think they wanted reforms because it gave the voters more power with the laws. I think these day our life is beta cuz of reforms.Becuase we can vote on things and not the bosses and i think that is fair ;)
