The pictures that we seen today in class courtesy or Jacob Riis were upseting to see people have to live the way they did.The pictures that we seen was about how people lived during the 1890's. The people really didnt have a place to live. The picture that stood out the most to me was the picture of the 5 guys who lived together and had 2 sleep in the same beds.I think that nobody should have to live a life like that.

The pictures I saw today were about poor people back in the 1990's. The picture that stands out in my mind the most is the one with the 6 men in one small room crowded together trying to rest. This picture stands in my mind the most because today we all have a house to live in with at least 2 bedrooms that are not overcrowded. This is the picture that stands out the most in my mind and why it stands out the most.

The pictures that we seen today in class courtesy of Jacob Riis were really, really upseting. The one that upseted me most was the one with the 5 people in the little room who had to breath each others air and had to sleep right next to each other. I would never in my life would like to live like that now. But that is probably the best way they lived in the 1890's.

The pictures I have seen today were with poor people. They were in a small place and was dirty. The roof looked like it was about fall down. One of the pictures was with about 5 people in a little room. There was no windows and had alot of stuff in the room. Sometimes people had no homes and they had to pay 7 cent a night to sleep at this place. This is how the poor people lived.

The picture i saw was about the old New york time. We can see how it look like and see how poor people were back then. When I saw the 2002 and the 1800 New York we all can tell that it change alot for 1800's to 2002. I mostly feel so bad for the children because they mostly died so young because back then they dont have a good doctor.

- the picures that were shown was ; one that there was like 5 people living in one room with no windows and had to cook probably outside in a allyway . one other picture was a family living in the broken down home & it looked like the house was about to fall apart + the clothes was all old and dirty , another picture was this ally way with clothes hanging drying ; kids playing around & other cooking. then other pic ` that theres a place where they let you sleep for 17 cents a night and other one that this like 3 story house or something ; looked like the wood was about to fall. the most standed out picture was the one with the room with 5 people living inside it and they had no where to take a shower or ` cook ; like you had to cook outside in the ally way .

I think that the pictures were awfull because people would die because they were in a little room and they had no windows to get fresh air in and they had bad water ro drink

Today the pictures we saw were showing poor people back in the 1900's. they had to share a room with six people and most poeple would get sick and die. i dont think people should share a room with like 5 other people.

What I saw in courtesy of Jacob Riis was people living poorly. One picture was, like about 6 people living in the room. They had to cook outside.Another picture was about some kids hanging out or maybe living between two buildings. There was people living in broken down houses wearing dirty clothes.People where swimming in Coney Island.I saw a street with bad 3 story buildings. The picture that stands out the most in my mind is the one with 6 people living in it.The reason why is because people now have at least 2 bedrooms in their house.

The picture we saw today in class was pictures by Jacob Riis. One of the picture we saw was about 6 six men in one room the size of my bedroom. They had no windows for air so if one of the men was sick all the other men would get sick also. Those men had to be outside in order to cook there food. There was another picture with alot of people in a pathway between two buildings. Those people were very poor. Those two pictures were the ones that stands in my mind.

The pictures that we saw in class today were very upsetting! In the old days (1890's) people used to live in small dirty places. Very bad conditions.Out of all the pics. the one that i found most interesting was to be the one where there were 5 men sleeping in the same house that was one bed room. That house was so small and crowded that it didnt even have a window in it.I thought that was very bad because its not fair that they had to live like that!

The picture I saw today is a picture of New York City during the 1990's. The is about peoples in the past is really poor. They don't have enough money to buy expensive things. The picture I saw in class is peoples' home and building didn't have windows . The other picture I saw a men is under a roof of a house. The roof is almost wanted to fall on him. Another picture is 6 people inside the house resting in the kitchen crowded together. I felt sad for them. The peoples could get sick easily and spread germs out.

Today I saw how dirty and poor the places back then were. In one of the pictures I saw a roof that looked like it was about to fall. Kids had to play at the small alleys and poeple cooked out side. They had to hang their clothings on a string that is connected to two buildings and there would be like 5 persons in a house that is small in dirty from another picture. They could also rent a night sleep at some place for 5 cents that is what standsout the most in my mind it was so bad that you had to rent a night of sleep witch was like some tents im so glad that reformers reformed that part by adding laws for it.
